Scott Disick and Sofia Richie are not engaged, despite a fabricated report. Gossip Cop can exclusively correct this story, which wrongly contends the model was spotted flaunting a ring on her wedding finger. We’re told it’s “false.”
In Touch blares in a headline, “Scott Disick and Sofia Richie Spark Engagement Rumors After She Flaunts a Telling Ring.” According to the tabloid, Richie was caught on Instagram wearing a “suspicious-looking ring” on “THAT finger,” and fans are “pretty much convinced” she’s engaged to the reality star. Without any evidence to support its premise, the outlet goes on to assert that it wouldn’t be “totally out of the realm of possibility” for father-of-three Disick, who has a “questionable past with relationships,” to just get engaged.
This is all coming from the same publication that already previously claimed Disick and Richie were engaged and planning a wedding. Since that story was completely untrue, Gossip Cop was understandably skeptical of In Touch’s latest engagement tale. Still, we looked into the tabloid’s report and a Richie insider exclusively tells us “Sofia is 100 percent not engaged.”
And while the couple is slowly getting more serious, they are not talking about getting engaged anytime soon. In fact, Disick and Richie spent Thanksgiving apart. As for the ring she wore in her Instagram story, it’s not a wedding band. It’s simply a piece of her own jewelry.
Of course, the magazine is not always a reliable source for accurate information about the couple. Remember, Gossip Cop corrected the publication just last week when it falsely alleged Disick and Richie were moving in together. In that tall tale, the outlet wrongly claimed Richie’s dad Lionel and sister Nicole were concerned about the model buying a house with Disick. Much like that inaccurate article, the tabloid’s newest story is equally untrue.
